Elizabeth (Shaver) Ruh, EA

Elizabeth is well known for her hard work and attention to details.  Elizabeth has over a decade of experience in the financial and legal world.  She started her career as a teller for Irwin Union Bank.  She has experience working for several law firms where she mostly worked as a probate paralegal settling estates and trusts as well as establishing and maintaining guardianships.   She has also worked for Monroe Bank’s Trust Department as a Senior Trust Administrative Assistant. 

Elizabeth is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS, a federally authorized tax practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation.  She has experience in handling individual returns, trust  and estate returns, inheritance tax returns and business returns.

Elizabeth is a native to Bloomington, Indiana.   Elizabeth is currently an active volunteer with the Sycamore Land Trust and for Monroe County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate).   Elizabeth is also a part of the Monroe County CASA’s Volunteer Advisory Committee. 

Megan (Torphy) Mahaffey, EA

Megan has over a decade of experience assisting individuals with their personal financial needs. She began in customer service and quickly moved to the role of relationship banker for Bank One. Megan worked one on one with clients, assisting them with investment and loan needs. She has held an Indiana State Insurance license, and Series 6 and 63 securities licensing for investment products. Additionally, she has an extensive background in tax preparation, and currently is an Enrolled Agent, a federally authorized tax practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation.

Megan is an active advocate in the area of childhood cancer awareness. She coordinates an annual fundraising event for the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, raising hundreds of dollars for research into treatments and cures.

Also a Bloomington native, Megan is a proud mother of two sons and a daughter.
